Family Orientation Information and Event Schedule

Families of the Class of 2028 and new transfer students were invited to attend Sagehen Family Orientation during New Student Move-In Day, Saturday, August 17. Once families have finished helping their students settle into their dorm rooms, all are welcome to join us for a community lunch in Pomona's dining halls. Students will depart to join their own activities. Orientation programming begins for families following lunch. Students and their families will meet up in the late afternoon for refreshments and the traditional Through the Gates event where Pomona's new students officially enter through the College gates.

New Student Early Arrivals (Fall Athletes and International Students)
Fall athletes and international students will be scheduled to move-in before August 17 and will be emailed to complete an Early Arrival form on their residence account. Once approved, early move-in students will receive specific check-in instructions via their Pomona email accounts.
Week of August 12 | Fall Athlete early move-in begins
Wednesday, August 14 | International Student Move-in | Register for the International Families Dinner
Saturday, August 17 | Move-in begins at 8 a.m. with the expectation that all students arrive by 11 a.m. Visit the Fall 2024 Move-In Information page for additional details.
